Another event in Las Vegas at Vegas Xtreme Paintball. Such a great venue to host an event at. The staff is amazing there and go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. Not to mention otter pops... lots of otter pops.
The Ultimate Paintball League held their first event of the 2015 season on March 21-22, hosting teams from all over the country.

The sunsets in Las Vegas are usually gorgeous and get to see them almost every day. This is how I see them.
The sun begins to rise over the Las Vegas Strip on a crisp Winter's morning - taken from the Tropicana Hotel glass elevator.

Another Vegas snap from the NY NY hotel. The clouds were epic! Maybe tomorrow I'll actually go inside the conference centre for CES :| There's not much camera/photography related product so I haven't been that keen to check out things, but I guess I have to make a stop by the Canon booth :P

More photoshopping experimentation with fake lomo. Let me know what you think! I've replaced this with a photo that is less blue and green
Las Vegas and surroundings with snowy Mount Charleston rising above.
(this one's been enhanced some to get city detail out of the blue haze, would probably be a great shot in the early morning hours)

I'm in Vegas on holiday for the week. The weather was stormy for most of today, but the rest of the week is supposed to be beautiful. I'm looking forward to spending the next two days at the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam :)

This is Vegas. She accidentally joined our family nearly 2 years ago. It was one summer's day, Richard had been out cutting the grass. When he put the lawn mower away, he left the shed door open. It was a few days later, he returned to the shed and shut the door, locking it.
Nearly a week had passed, and one morning, I went out the back to put rubbish in the bin when I heard a faint ........miaow. I didn't think much of it, as the neighbour had a kitten at the time. A couple of hours then passed, and the neighbour came to my door and asked if we had a cat. No- I said. I thought I was hearing yours! It turned out that their cat had disappeared a few weeks before. So we crept up the garden, thinking that a cat was hiding in the bushes. As we approached the shed, it was evident by the Miaowing getting louder that the cat was locked inside. I opened the door, but she didn't want to come out.......... So we coaxed her out with some sliced ham. Mmmmmmm. A week in the shed, she was starving. She hastily snatched the ham from my hands and ran straight back into the shed! O.K. Next time, I coaxed the cat out, I grabbed her, whilst I closed the door of the shed. The cat was bewildered. Where would she go now. I set her on the ground so she could go her own way, but she promptly followed my daughter round the garden and inside. Despite our efforts to keep the cat away, she still returns today. So we named her Vegas...... as she was lucky after gambling with her life in that shed!
