Don’t forget -- If you’re in Seattle on the evening of Saturday, February 7th, you’re more than welcome to attend the reception of my gallery exhibit! The reception is completely informal and casual, and there will be refreshments as well. More details here and my official website. The exhibit itself will be on display throughout the month of February. Thanks!

Vancouver is a coastal seaport city in Canada, located in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia.

With its scenic views, mild climate, and friendly people, Vancouver is known around the world as both a popular tourist attraction and one of the best places to live.

Vancouver is also one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities in Canada with 52 percent of the population speaking a first language other than English.

Vancouver has hosted many international conferences and events, including the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2010 Winter Paralympics.

From Waterfront looking across to the North to what is likely North Vancouver at sunset

My earlier rendering of this place in Vancouver's harbor didn't please me. My first version feeling cliche, too dull, too touristy, so I felt compelled to take it down. Plus I had used a frame very clumsily and those who do that best would have been shaking their heads. I'm happier with this version of the same locale. It just seems more LP. Less realistic, but more dark/light and more true.

When the night starts to fall and the mystery intensifies, the real partner of light, darkness, comes into its own in the city.
