Looking back a year I found this less than dramatic sunrise in my favourite Welsh valley - must go back soon this year!
A small village among the dry hills and cliffs Mustang District Nepal lies in the altitude of 3840 m with desert kind of vegetation.
Honopū Valley is located along the northwest shore of Kauai on the Na Pali coast. It is isolated and not easily accessible except by water. Best POV are from the air, as in this shot.

This is the lower 2 steps of 5 steps waterfalls.
The trekking route is 4 hours, autumn colors
can be seen in end of October.
西沢渓谷は1周4時間、程よい運動です。
10月末頃の紅葉もお勧めです。

The Calder Valley (towards Todmorden)
Tree lined hillsides, hill farms, plus the River Calder, Railway (Leeds to Manchester) and the Rochdale Canal are all in here somewhere !
Taken on the descent from Cabane Arpitettaz this shot gives an excellent view of the scale of the valley carved out by the glacier running off Pointe de Zinal. The shot also shows how far the glacier has retreated in modern times due to the effects of climate change. Pointe de Zinal can be seen as the peak on the left flanked to the right by Dent Blanche and Grand Cornier.

Sangla valley is a remote valley bordering Tibet in Kinnaur district of the state of Himachal Pradesh in India.(altitude around 10000 feet above sea level)The River Baspa flows through this picturesque valley famous for its picturesque villages,its lush meadows,apple orchards and forests of Deodar and birch.It is a veritable Shangri La tucked away in one corner of Kinnaur and was opened to tourists only in the 1980s.
