The arugula section looks bare because I cut it back aggressively to see if it will give us another harvest. The basil was just aggressively clipped back a week ago and is going bananas again.

Roberta's Pizza has its own shipping container rooftop gardens.

I swirled together left-over hunks of porcelain and terra cotta, sliced the result and used the fired slices as edging for the garden. The shadow effect is striking in the morning sun.
