it was such a beautiful day today that I decided to take off with my camera. . . . I headed east along the interstate (I-88) and had only gone about ten miles when I noticed a car that was on fire along the right-hand shoulder of the road. . . . . . not wanting to drive past the fire for fear of explosion, I pulled off on the shoulder about fifty yards away and got out with my camera in hand. . . . . the following three photos show what happened next. . . . .

This is my wife, Amy, and myself at Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondack Mountains in New York. It's not like me to have my picture taken. Years ago I became a photographer so I would be on the other side of the lens.

It will be my last post for a while. We will be on vacation next week, but I will get back to everyone when we return. Thanks for all of your support and kind comments.
