Sun shining through a tree in winter.

Bald kommt sie wieder, die Zeit der Nebel. Es ist immer wieder überraschend, was für Geheimnisse sich dahinter verbergen, wenn sich die Nebel auflösen.

Zeit für Meditation :-)

Wonderful frosty scenes round Aylesbury yesterday. How I wished for more time to photograph all the trees and fields and hedges. Not above freezing all day, although it was sunny.

Langdale Tree, a shot going back nearly 2 years ago at a time when i was going through a serious illness and this was a shot i took about 3 weeks before a major operation. It still sticks in my head i shouldn't really have been out in such bad weather but i am still glad i did. Langdales, Lake District, Cumbria.

Driving around Lake Pend Oreille in northern Idaho I came across this golden tree at sunset. Who says gold doesn't grow on trees?

Thanks for your votes and comments. I'm very happy to see the response to this picture.

It's been a few warm days lately. So when the cold came back, the snow and tree branches crytalized giving a fantastic light effect. Because of the strong light I had to make a HDR out of it to catch some of the magic.

A very spindly tree in Strathblane, Scotland

I have some old Edwardian photographs of woodland, that have quite an unusual almost negative or solarized effect. I've been playing about in lightroom trying to achieve a similar effect on one of my old photographs.

I snapped an Instagram photo of these trees and I liked it so much that I had to take a real photo too.

Foto tirada em velocidade, de dentro do carro ... acabei cortando a coitadinha...mas amei essa luz...essas cores...era final de tarde.

Embaixo da árvore tem o milharal...que delícia...adoro milho!

Volto depois!

Not an extraordinary photo; I’m just a fan of big, twisted trees. I found this one at a stop on a country mountain road. It was starting to rain – not much time to get a better shot.
