"Have you ever noticed a tree standing naked against the sky, How beautiful it is? All its branches are outlined, and in its nakedness, there is a poem, there is a song..." ~ Krishnamurti

This old, gnarly tree captured my attention as we were waiting for the sun to rise at Mather Point...the silhouette really stood out against the early morning light.

Hope everyone's having a great week...thanks for visiting & commenting!!!

An obsolete tree captured with my obsolete camera...

Cypress Trees capture my attention like no other. Growing in the water, often in places where they are never on dry land. The trees at Lake Moultrie have been a subject of mine several times, this time I was able to get much closer to them. This stand of 3 were the subject for longer than any other, a pair of healthy trees, flanked by one that was not as full, with just a little distance between them.

The tree «captured» us both, no doubt! We have been around her till the sun set and night fell. Only then, we came back home.

I will be away from Flickr these next days. Work is keeping me too busy and is preventing me from visiting your streams, I'm sorry! I hope I will be able to visit you soon!

This is an HDR of an oak tree captured in the Willamette valley. I wish the tree was a little closer to better fill the frame, but there are more lone oak trees in the valley, so I need to try this again at a different place. The sunset was pretty at least... :)

A lone tree captured against a moonlit sky on Dartmoor National Park.

The tree appears to be split into two separate halves and seem to be dancing with each other, perhaps just my imagination.
