Made it back to the main falls area for the sunrise, catching the warm lighting on the Virginia side trees.
Captured this shorter long exposure with the 10mm on the 60D, while taking a longer exposure with the 5D (yet to process that one).
Pretty view with the ice and snow out on the rocks in the middle of the flow. Also nice catching it here under lower flow conditions, have many shots with torrents coming through where you can barely see the rocks. It is pretty with all the many cascades along the 75 foot drop of the Potomac River.
Great Falls, Maryland
A pair of colorful trees captured from above by "SPIKE" ... my Phantom 2 / GoPro Hero 3+ "Black" drone.
Taken in Gaines Township, MI.
I struggled all my life to climb my family tree
Wondering on the way up if it was worth the climb;
When I came across stark branches that broke at my grasp
I then wondered if it was all a waste of my time.
As I tried again to climb up another way
I found that some branches were often full of sap and rotten to the core.
So I scaled down knowing that I was the better man for trying to climb
I am not a stark branch on the family tree.. now of that I am completely sure.

A little boy wears a surprised looks upon seeing someone he doesn't know about to take his candid portrait photo while he's standing by a wooden bench under a tall tree.
Captured at a village in Subic, Zambales, Philippines.
Another unpublished image from back in mid April. A flowering tree captured on campus.
Not sure what its called. It seemed different in that it was loaded with lots of pink flowers directly attached to and lined all along the tree's branches.
Not dangling off a little stem of some sort like most of the flowering trees seem to have.
Captured with iPhone, Olloclip Macro lens and edited on the iPad in Snapseed.
A scanned copy of an original print. The original image was lost when my hard drive decided to trash it's contents! This is a headlamp of a Yaris manipulated with the reflections of trees captured in the glass.
A raven braving the cold January morning out in the trees.
Captured in RAW and processed using ACR and HDR toning in PS.

Southern yellow-billed hornbill (Tockus leucomelas) in an acacia tree. Captured in May in Etosha National Park, Namibia, Africa. We found these birds to be somewhat shy, and they flew away at even a slow, stealthy approach in our truck. We did manage to capture a few good shots, and this was one of them.
Thank you for viewing, and many thanks for comments, positive or negative, as they are all a learning experience.

A lone tree, captured with the Fuji X-E2 in very windy conditions earlier this year on The Roaches - beautiful light and a stunning place.
