Hi everyone,
Due to the new interface I will not be as active on Flickr as before. I live rural, rely on 3G mobile internet, and find the high resolution/justified/continuous scroll type view far too slow. In fact, it is so slow that it ain't going at all...
This is most unfortunate, as I loved keeping up to date with all your work... It leaves me feeling sad and frustrated; why can't Flickr just give us the option to view photostreams in small or medium again? I will attempt to stop by your streams as much and as regular as possible, while also performing administrative duties. The upgrade hasn't done me any favours...
Thanks everyone for the continued support, advice, feedback, views and faves... Sharing would have been meaningless without you all!
Take care, and I will see you all around!
Regards,
Elizme
PS - I am busy acquainting myself better with Photoshop... I hope you are enjoy the results thus far!

UPDATE: There actually IS a way now to view someone else's stream in the old format; it will look exactly the same as when you are viewing your own after clicking on 'edit'... All you have to do is enter/add ?details=1 after the person's homepage link/url in the browser. Using my own as an example:
www.flickr.com/photos/flickvlooi/?details=1 instead of just www.flickr.com/photos/flickvlooi/
This is far from ideal, and must be entered every time you wish to view someone's photos... But at least one can now read descriptions, scroll much faster and jump between pages also!
Good luck guys, and thanks to Ben for letting me know! :)
No more oppression!

Flickr, today was a pretty sad day- one of my pets died this night. she was quite old, a 14 year old cat. But I was really sad today and I feel like I am missing her.
I hope she is doing good, where ever she might be!
Keep it up, Annabel ♥

"Transformation is a process, and as life happens there are tons of ups and downs. It's a journey of discovery - there are moments on mountaintops and moments in deep valleys of despair."

Bridging the past and future across the River Thames (Golden Jubilee Bridge) west side looking south.
I think I didn't tell you the story of my new girl, another Mia (Winter Vacation)!
For those of you that don't know, my first Mia (Witch of the Note) really like animals. She usually feed some during her woodland walks. In particular, this bunny. Eventually, she deciced to use her power as a witch to transform it into a real girl and here is the result! The new girl still has some features of rabbit, though.
BTW, I made the picnic table ^_^
Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.
Thanks Shopfe.

In the Greek myth, Leda was ravaged by Zeus who had assumed the form of a swan. In my version of the story, it is Leda who possesses the power of transformation. Zeus beware!

Nature is slowly transforming, becoming something better and brighter even though it is through cold and darkness
... Reflexion... Illusion... Meditation...
Herbst eben!
...reflections... illusions... meditation... stones, leaves on and in the water... and above... sunlight, clouds, shadows... all elements in a little pond... earth, water, air and fire of transformation that leaves behind, getting vegetable mould... fall...
Wish you a nice week, my friends!
Ich wünsche meinen flickr Freunden eine gute Woche!

A philosophical and impressionnist photo safari concentrated mainly on a daily basis (or almost) on my small piece of planet of 55 000 square feet …!!!

My free time during the week will take place in complete darkness. So I use my time to dedicate my archive. The same time in 2008 I had a great session in a mountain forest. Fled from the dense fog in the valley I went up the mountain road until I reached the fog line. It was a busy session. Cause the wind makes condition changing, so I had to move with the fog line.
The “line_up“ is a paperwork series I developed since 2010. The “liners” are made out of paper (Din A3/A4),
oil paint and graphite. The theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers.

One year ago (4-8-'10) I added Flickr. Thanks to all the Flickrmembers or -friends who commented or faved my photos. I appreciate it very much.
We had the first nocturnal storm and a sharp drop in temperatures.
It seems that August has kept its promises, arguing a bit with September coming in tonight ....
September for me is like the first month of the year.
The new year begins today ....
Thanks for your recent visits, favorites, comments and invitations. I go slow, but everything is very much appreciated, as always....
