This is quickly becoming one of my favorite lakescapes :) still hard to believe this is actually in my home state of California.
As always, I highly welcome your thoughts, critiques, etc. I keep going back and forth between two similar shots from this night and have been replacing them with each other every 10 minutes... I'll finally let this poor photo be and upload the other one later.

Osullivan Beach
South Australia
The title has nothing to do with the movie , just the strip of intense red at sunset. We've been getting some incredible ones in adelaide lately - of course, the most spectacular was last night which I missed. This site is at the end of Marine Road between Osullivan and Christie's beach. An underepresented area in terms of photograph for how nice it is.
Shot taken with 2 stop reverse GND and the 40D (Marianne's 5d turn )
There's a cloud but the water remains calm. Reaching in, the sun's fingers clutch the dawn to pass, even out it's a precious thing to bear.

Okay, I was just messing with soapy water, but it looked cool. Put dish soap in water, stir with finger, and wait about thirty seconds to a minute for the color to appear like it does in this photo.
