The world’s light shines, shine as it will,
The world will love its darkness still.
I doubt though when the world’s in hell,
It will not love its darkness half so well.
But Men Loved Darkness rather than Light by Richard Crashaw (1612 - 1649)

It was a crisp autumn day and I went for a long walk in a park this morning..lots of things to see and photograph! The small things catch my eye first... #85 on Explore Oct. 19, up to 29! Breaking news from Denis: Front Page!!! must have been a brief little visit...
Mid February we had a really heavy rainfall and all the snow disappeared and the little brook in my subdivision was no longer so little...This waterfall is only about 4 feet high but very pretty at dusk. I posted some shots last fall but this was the fullest I had seen it... This spot is surroounded by a chain link fence which acted as a 'tripod' but limited my composition a bit..the lower part was really pretty but i couldn't tip the camera to include it because of the fence. Explored #26 March5..up to #11
Father got a little tired after driving a long way. So we stopped beside the highway and took a rest. I can't help taking a photo there because of the wonderful surroundings.
Lovely flowers, lovely grass, lovely me with my lovely parents.

All things come from God and are beautiful if you take the time to look. My interest in photography is deeply rooted in the desire to gaze upon the wonders given us by the one and only Creator.
