An early walk on New Years day, following in the footsteps of earlier risers. It was such a wonderful start to the year, without a hangover I'm pleased to say. Lets hope there are many more beach walks on the road ahead.
Always get nervous adding the first shot for a new project.
Today I handed my beloved Hyundai Coupe over to a dealer in part exchange for a new car with Generic Body Shape #4. I wanted to keep my lovely wee car, which I've owned for the last 13 years from new, but it was becoming too unreliable. This is a shot from its last outing with me up near Loch Eck in Scotland.
Fall reminds me of the Rockies...one year ago we were heading there...the road ahead.

11/04/00-11/04/09=R.I.P. Happy Anniversary???
How uncomfortable it is to have a date that should by all rights equal happiness and love..be a day of discomfort and uncertainty. Gone are the flowers...the cards...the sweet sentiments...the forget-me-nots...the gift of love and adoration. Replaced by foulness..anger..bitterness...blame...finger pointing and an incessant need to run fast in any other direction! Today shall be a tough one as I am in the throws of divorce and moving on yet still in my complacency and awaiting the loose ends to be tied up. There is no finalization yet..it is limbo at its best. How does one get uncomplicated in a complicated mess? I do not cry or hope or wish or beg...for it is not the loss of my husband that bothers me but certainly I will mourn the loss of what I thought things would be....
BUT that road ahead sure does look colorful, bright and inviting..I think I shall get on it!
As the last of the trees shed their Autumn colour, this farm entrance in the Mulgoa Valley explodes with a last ditch dazzling display.
I've been laid up for the past 7 weeks and was afraid I'd miss the colours of Autumn altogether. Happily I found this gem just a few minutes from home.
The path leads on to the Lake at Rudyard Reservoir. The RLSR (Rudyard Lake Steam Railway) miniature train tracks are to the right in the picture..
