The Hoces del Río Duratón Natural Park is a protected area that includes the environment of the sickles that this river has in its middle section. These are the canyon that Duraton, a tributary of the Duero River, has excavated in an area of limestone between the towns of Sepúlveda and Burgomillodo (annex of Carrascal del Río), northeast of the province of Segovia (Castilla y León, Spain) .

This place, constituted by the middle course of the Duratón, was declared a Natural Park on June 27, 1989 by the Courts of Castilla y León, integrating with the protected areas of that community, a statement made in response to the importance of its natural ecosystems and landscape values The colony of griffon vultures established in the protected area is considered to be the largest in Europe, both by its number, 575 couples censored in 2003, and by its reproductive level. This colony has become one of the main attractions of the park.

The truth is: the natural world is changing. And we are totally dependent on that world. It provides our food, water and air. It is the most precious thing we have and we need to defend it. David Attenborough

...in the environment where you got sick.

Just back from some time out West and whenever I leave and come back, I'm reminded how Chicago has never felt like home. I've lived elsewhere, and when we all get through these days to the other side, if we get through, it may be time to hit the road once again, one last time...

There is something about the environment and the lighting at the Bolivar Flats Shorebird Sanctuary that I find really special. Yesterday afternoon I got to enjoy some of that beautiful light and though there weren’t as many birds around as I’m used to seeing at the flats, I was able to find some willing subjects. This Willet pretty much ignored me as I watched him prance around in the tide pools. What a peaceful experience.

The acting

It is curious, as time puts a mantle of mercy. I refer to those moments where our miseries are revealed. Sometimes they fade like cigarette smoke, in the environment. That day, I was the least thought, well, maybe for me. But not for her. His gaze, I wobble my entire structure. We believe, I rectify myself, I believed that my character, the one that we all somehow presented, as great actors, had been enough to conquer the woman of my dreams. Possibly that's why I used, some tools, from past times, when my life, of magical nights, became another. Rehearsals in the old fine arts building, it was my refuge. There on the stage, the dawn, they were no longer tragic. The theater director, my teacher, was the one who managed to make my I disappear to create others, I. I remember the night very well when a group of teenagers, eager to find the "way out," heard that name: Stanislavski.

Work with the senses: Discover our sensory base; Learn to remember sensations, I think, I called it "sensory memory" and / or "affective memory." It was the "trick"

I will leave this ancient story, to return to that unexpected day, where my character collapsed, like a house of cards. It was a question, of those unexpected. She has that talent, to observe and achieve with a subtle gambeta, of those that some soccer players, leave their opponent standing, almost in ridiculous conditions, and that my years of study, Stanislavski in the middle, did not allow me to dodge.

What was that amazing question? Sorry I can't say it. But I will make a parable with a conclusion. How many or how many of you, at some point in your life have had to show your secrets? I don't talk about unscrupulous, immoral, or unethical secrets. I mean our lack of honesty in simple matters. That little lies that only serve to make our ego satisfied, decorate our lives with small details, stolen anecdotes, useless devices, which we cannot sustain later. All this with the sole sense of not showing us vulnerable. Finally it is possible that we can keep them, in search of falling in love. In any case believing that in this way we will not lose the being we want to share our lives.

Reaching that crossroads makes no sense, beyond our disrespectful actions. Well, there is a reason that would exalt us as human beings, simply showing ourselves as we are, with our weaknesses, defects and miseries. Because in the eternal search, to find our partner / ro, to walk together the paths of life and when we are lucky enough to find / deserve to leave our "tricks" at the entrance door. Failure to do so, you will see, sooner rather than later, as it vanishes, the most sacred: the trust of your loved one. What will take a little time, playing what you are not, will take years to recover, as long as there is someone by your side who has the soul with the purity necessary to forgive you.

Lamento no poder decirla.

Reflection taken at the Museum of the environment , the biosphere of Montreal.

Water is mysterious and elusive. It is a complex and simple molecule. Water is flexible and amazing. Water is the only liquid that does not densify but becomes lighter when cooled. Our challenge: The world's population is growing and there is still one in four people without access to safe drinking water. This reusable resource is essential to our body (our body contains 60 to 65%) to our life on this beautiful planet.

28-june-2020: the temporary lake of Palčje/Palško jezero is the third largest in the Karst Region, managing to cover an area of over 100 football fields; unlike the larger and more famous lake/basin of Cerknica/Cerkniško jezero and the smaller and less famous lake/basin of Doberdò (Gorizia, Italy), rich in plants and fishes, this basin and the adjacent one of Petelinje/Petelinjsko jezero are devoid of aquatic fauna and flora as the water is present for relatively short periods and have no perennial stagnation.

The perfectly flat surface of the basin, devoid of water, further favors thermal inversions, already benefited by the concave morphology of many areas, large and small, of the Karst Region all.

A juvenile Sharp-shinned Hawk blending into the environment, hoping not to be spotted by the other bird species it preys upon.

I was amazed how this little hawk maneuvered on wing so quickly and easily through the thick brush. At the time, I just happened to have my camera on me, as I was taking pics of Hummingbirds and other small birds I could find.

The Sharp-shinned Hawk is the smallest of North America's bird-hunting Accipter hawks. It is also the most migratory, breeding north to treeline in Alaska and Canada and wintering south to Panama. It is during migration that the Sharp-shin is most likely to be seen in numbers, with dozens or even hundreds passing at some favored points on the coastlines, lake shores, and mountain ridges. At other season the hawks lurk in the woods, ambushing songbirds and generally staying out of sight like the one pictured.

The Sharp-shinned Hawk feeds on mostly small birds about sparrow size and up to robin size and even Quail from time to time. They also eat small numbers of rodents, bats, lizards, squirrels, frogs, snakes and large insects.

I don’t mean that, thats for the funny. I care about the environment, but smokeshows are cool

After chasing 281 all the way out to Portage, I found 686 with a YN2 duo to chase back. Here, they just got green signals and throttle up out of Portage East for the last part of the journey on their way to Barr Yard.

"When you look for the environment,

you find things that are in it:

a hammer,

a smartphone,

some rusty nails,

a shed,

a spider,

some grass,

a tree.

So there is a big difference between environmentality and Nature.

Nature is definitely something you can point to:

it is 'over yonder' in the mountains,

in my DNA,

under the pavement."

~ Timothy Morton ~

well, how about a "rusty rose"?

. . . found this in an outdoor sculpture garden at a favorite art gallery in RI.

The environment object contains 10 stylised human statues set in a circle and symbolising the many people who have been involved in formation and development of the Latvian state. Each of the statues supports 10 stones. A total of 100 stones are held symbolising the years of Latvian statehood. The most significant events of each decade in the context of Jelgava have been engraved on the human statues, on the other side of which everyone can see their own reflection; thus, underlining that the state is formed by each of us.

The environment on top of Hutton Roof is not too hospitable. There are low lying spikey and prickly plants and stunted trees trying to make the most of what they've got. And for humans who can find their way up there, every yard on the wet limestone pavements is a potential ankle breaker

2016/366 - day 6. Blending into the environment, caught a shot of this coyote leaping from some of the boulders right outside our back door. Actually, he has lived here for quite a few years. We call him Solo because he doesn't really belong to a group. We see him several times a week. He comes by, gets a drink of water from one of the water basins we keep available for the wild animals, and then he drifts away into the desert. The coyotes here tend to be good neighbors and we've not had any problems with them whatsoever in the many years that we have lived on this property. We all just happily co-exist.

The environment is full of green! we four friends visited the park. We spent the day quite good! The weather was nice!
