Just when you need someone to turn up in a red coat-Look what happened-I have no idea who this person was but I was very thankfull too them.

Went out with my dad today for a little trip! Rest and be Thankfull, Loch Awe, Glen Orchy and Glen Etive! Great trip just too short!

This was meant only as a test shot! Was pretty dark when I took this but it actually turned out ok. Loving the colours it produced!

Hello all,

After moving, opening, closing, moving, closing, opening, vacations, moving.... Belle and I, we decided (suddenly) to build another Kékéland & Bardeco.

There really was no plan, But last week she rezzed a cat on a sim and I builded all around.

And Kékéland & Bardeco reborn again.

We tried to recreate a quiet, sunny and peacefull fishermen place, inspired from a italian village.

You will find a little harbor in a colored village and hillsides of vines, campain and moutain.

We didn't forget to rez BarDeco :)

As usually, Belle did the most part of job less than one week (joke), and miracle, I didn't eat all the prims, yet.

Without all the job that SL creators and designers do, this sim couldn't exist.

So we are very thankfull for all the job they do for the SL community ♥

Friday 10th august, at 12:00 PM, I will play some party tunes (for make you shaking asses) at Bardeco .

Of course, KEKELAND and BARDECO will stay open and public for all.

Be free to join us.

in life, we will overcome obstacles,

detours, signposts, slopes, turn forks, cross roads,

dead ends, work zones, merges, and so on so forth.

But most of the time, they will lead to something new

and if you're lucky something better

and if you're fortunate, even the best.

so many roads. so many detours.

so many choices. so many changes.

but i am thankful as ever

for the life changing broken path

that paved my way to what i have now.

Life is something you have to be thankful for.

everyday. every hour.

every minute. every second.

Im grateful for mine.

Most of all for the best part of

every heartbeat.

have a good day everyone!

(paperwork nightmare..

will get back later)

Located in the "Cinque Terre" (The five villages) in Italy.

I somehow managed the 9km walking track between these villages and was thankfull for the overcast conditions.

A friend is someone we turn to

when our spirits need a lift.

A friend is someone we treasure,

for our friendship is a gift.

A friend is someone who fills our lives

with beauty, joy and grace.

And makes the whole world we live in

a better and happier place.

So thankfull to have you in my life sweety ♥

This cool bridge its just up passed the rest and be thankfull. This was shot was really tricky since there was a half moon backlighting the bridge. My 24-70mm wasnt wide enough for the framing i wanted so i created this by stitching 6 verticals in photoshop. It took quite some time to get it right and when i was close my computer crashed more than once! The final image is over 80mp and was over 1.5gb, I need a new computer for this kind of work!

This Lake is famous for is beautiful nature. It is also called the "eye of Montenegro"! I'm very thankfull to be allowed to visit this place during my stay in Montenegro!

When I looked outside my living room window, the first dust-like snowflakes began to fall and the weather forecast predicted more. So I packed in the camera, and drove to the National Park ' De Hoge Veluwe'. At first everything was still green but when the hours passed, the snow covered everything in a white blanket. And yes, as normal as it may seem to many people throughout the world, here in Holland we still get excited when snow falls :-)

When I drove up a little road there was a car behind me. Apparently my 20km/hour bugged the hell out of him because he nearly touched my bumper! So I drove to the side to let him pass. When I was done thinking up names for this so called nature lover I looked up and found myself eye-to-eye with this young roe deer buck, his antlers still covered in velvet, checking me out through the curtain of falling snow flakes.

I guess I have to be thankfull to this hasty driver for making me stop..

Model: Tim

Make-up: Me

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wanted to do this for a long time, so I've finally took the time for it today. Tim hated it, he had to shave of his moustache and goatee, hehe. But he liked how it turned out. And I'm really thankfull that he wanted to model for me.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The year is almost over and that makes me look back.

So today I looked back. I thought about all the accomplishments, failures, joy, sadness, anger, frustration, satisfactions, friends, changes. There were a lot of changes during 2013 for me.

During 2013 I grew up a lot more than during any other year.

I learned to live by myself in a big city far away from my family for the first time ever. I became more mature and independent. It wasn't easy, but it was very exciting (I love change).

I started the university which is completely different to school. I struggled, I admit it, first year is just as hard as everyone says it is, but no one will ever take away the satisfaction that I felt from knowing that only with my effort I managed to finish the year really well, I got very good grades, and next year I'll finally start to actually study the subjects of my career, veterinary medicine.

I got to meet loads of new people, I made friendships that, I believe, are gonna last for ever and that grow everyday.

I made a decision that changed my life for ever: veganism. It's a beautitful life style that made me reflect on many things and that, I think, made me a better person. Besides from feeling better physically, I feel better with myself. It's really like a big relief, not having to feel guilty every time that I eat something.

Also, I got a new tattoo this year, the one you can see on my shoulder in this photo. I decided to get it because I want to carry the message it represents on my skin for ever. I want it to aways remember me that no matter how bad I feel or how horrible the world turns for me sometime, the peace and beauty that I see on the small everyday things (like birds flying in the sky, nature, lights, sunsets, laughter, a cat purring and a thousand other tiny details that many people forget to see) are always going to be there, that the world didn't change and didn't lose its warmth and beauty and that I can see those things everytime I feel bad and think that everything will be better.

This year I also got my blue belt in taekwondo, another thing that I accomplished on my own, just with my hard work.

I lost my friend and sister, my dog Shanca. So now I have another angel looking after me from heaven.

Despite being very busy all the time, I feel like I found some time to grow up a little bit as a photographer too, which makes me happy because I love photography so much. I really hope to keep improving and growing artistically.

Distance definitely made me grow up a lot and made me change my perspective in many things.

I'm truly thankfull for this great year that is ending now. I hope all of you guys have had such a memorable year as I have.

Thank you all so much for your support, I really appreciate it!

Happy new year :)

after a dull rainy day went out tonight with P@tje....we ended up at this Mill. I am a big fan of this weather, sunlight in combination with almost typical Dutch cloud landscape. For me the focus was on the clouds and the mill as a thankfull and patient subject...added some extra drama by adding clarity (+35)...THE WIDE ANLGE lens takes care of the rest of the effect......

- A little Flower -

by Dmitriy Kokarev

A flower grew out of the ground

A tiny flower from the dirt

A tiny living soul from underground

A baby crawling from the dirt

A little innocence of wild color

A tiny spark of hope

A tiny pleasure free of charge

A flower that i called my own

A little baby ran towards it

A tiny flower crushed beneath the feet

A little human innocence

A little bliss destroyed by ignorance

A little flower dead on the ground

A little baby jumping up and down

And only me from my own window, witnessed the death of my own flower beneath the feet of blissful child without idea of his first crime...

Sorry, but I lost this texture's author name, but anyways it is not mine. I used it and I'm very thankfull to the creator. (I have it in SkeletalMess' folder, but I'm not 100% sure

Took a run down to Steetley with Alan D, gutted there was nothing left of the old magnasite works but thankfull theyve left the old pier in place, took this with the Hoya ND 400 9 stop, adjusted curves and levels and boosted colour.

We are very thankfull for the great interest and participation. Our group pool is filled with wonderfull impressions of all kinds.

It is very interesting how each and everyone always seem to discover a new angle or corner, truely every eyeball sees things differently..^

As much as we like things to go on (cos were having megafun snapping pics) there are certain moments that we have to cease for a halt. Last submission of pics. for the Neva River Sim Photography Challenge will be on the 30th of March, 4pm SL time. Winners will be announced on Easter Sunday♥

Over a week has passed but me and Boo cant decide which date we are going to close the doors of the SIM. Planned was just over a week, but due to numerous queries we are leaving the gates open until the 7th of April.

We want to use this opportunity to share Alex Bader's newly created Enchanted Woods

with everyone. To those who are already familiar with the Neva River Sim, it shouldnt be a problem spotting the new instalation.

I really like all the photos from this serie. I'm sorry people but you will have to see loads of them, so get used to flowers and Romi's face ;)

I just wanted to thank everyone who has commented and faved my photos lately, I really appreciate all the support. I got a lot of explores in a very short time and that's incredible because I've been wanting to get one of my photos to be explored for a very long time and it finally happened (and more than once!) so I'm very thankfull and happy!

I have to study a lot so I will keep posting photos from the summer until I have time to take new ones again.

Have a wonderful week :)

That's how I feel, thankfull beyond belief.

Joshua tree national park. I really need a human in here for scale but those boulders are massive. The ones in the background are like 5 story buildings. This is a 108sec exposure. So when I started it, the sunlight was just lighting up the boulders and then it faded to give the sky some color. Thankfull boulders don't move in the wind because there was some very hight wind gust.

I spent about 30 minutes processing this shot, having an intention to make the character pop out more than my other past candids. Doing that I realized how my processing skills have improved this past year (at least to my eyes) and then realized that it wouldn't have been possible without you. I am really thankfull for being part of the Flickr community, which is where I learn the most by looking at other people's art. A true inspiration.

[Part 3 - Morning]

... Between 3:30 and 5:00 am rain stopped me again, so i had a short rest inside the small shelter. At this time the wind freshed up and if you are not in motion it gets severely cold.

Therefore i was very thankfull about the shelter, although i had to look outside, always in mind that i could miss anything.

The following sunrise was hidden again by clouds, but even with clouds i could shoot some nice pictures.

Now the time has come, to pack up and leaving this incredible place. I had another realixing 1.5 hrs for reaching the cable car, with a happy feeling, what i experienced the last 14 hrs.

And the best thing, i felt like a treasure hunter who has found a treasure and carries it home, not only on my CF-Card but also in my mind.

Thank you for following my short trip!

Took this one while it was raining. When i started it was dry, the closer i came to the pier the more it started raining.

Luckily the wind came from behind, so my filter stayed dry.

But it left me a grey, dark and atmospheric picture, so i was thankfull.

Thank you for watching,

kind regards,

Christophe.

It actually isn't the first snow. It snows since two three days...I it really snows alot since three days. I woke up today and anything was white and so quite. That is the reason I love snow. Everything seems so quiet and gentle.

This Summer there has been a lot of forest wildfires in B.C. The smoke and the haze has been far reaching and one can only imagine how bad the air quality is near the center of it all. I'm just thankfull we don't have the daily air pollution problems other cities and countries have around the world

Well today was a good day, i finally brought my first outdoor flash and can't wait to use it tonight, im charging some batteries at the mo, but whilst i was doing that i thought id go scouting for locations in the woods behind my house for some potential areas, and did i find some! I spotted this place half way through the trek and knew exactly what i was going to do! Iv'e got so many ideas in my head i can't wait to get them done, i feel really positive and excited about it and i just hope i can execute them correctly. I think the fact the suns out helped today! :) Anyway loads to get planned for tomorrow, fingers crossed!

Firstly i want to say that this in no way is meant to offend anyone who is or has been on explore, i wish to make that clear, i congratulate everyone who has made it there and views the work on display.

This is meant to show the sheer randomness that has occured to me and that even after reading how photos make it to explore i am still as puzzled as ever! I had this all planned out before i made front page today, thank you everyone, i guess it was just a chance in a million that this happened!

Right back to the reason for this upload, i have had a few photos appear on explore and can see that through scout, BUT, here's the weird one, i have had comments on photos saying congrats on explore and my photo never appeared there and some of my explore shots have had little views and comments and no favourites yet they are sandwiched between my most popular!!! Im soo confused!?!

If anyone has any explanations for this i would appreciate it, it's not really important as i am soo thankfull for the opportunity, im just perplexed at how this all works?!!?

Again i hope i have not offended anyone as that was not my intention, but if i have i apologise and am sorry, sorry, sorry!!! If it makes you feel any better i had to pay a lot of money for this print!!! Extortion!!!

On another note i received my wireless trigger today, going to be testing it out today!!!

P.S. thanks again guys!!!
