I went exploring recently and came upon a distant SIM which had a collection of these amazing tenement buildings laid out as though the SIM was a watery rendition of the bleak urban landscape in George Orwell's dystopian novel, 1984.
I just knew I had to take some photos - and this looks good on black or at the Large or Original size.
PS - I distorted the "War is Peace" text using an effect from the Filter Forge plug-in. But if you like that effect you could try the Broken Text effect which is rather similar. This is an easy-to-follow tutorial on it:

It was rainging again today, so I couldn't do the outdoor shoot I had planned, but i think this turned out nice, even though it's books again... I like books.

4 - Use photoshop or similar to put it all together.

I'm not tagging anyone. I just wanted something to do before I even finished my first cup of coffee today.
Additionally, I think my band is an ironic hipster experiment, shunned by all because they just tried too damn hard, and their CD smacked of production values and effort.
The real reason they broke up though, is that two of them wore the same cowboy shirt two sizes too small one day, and were unable to get past the fact that they had found the same thrift store full of deadstock, thus negating how obscure the other was.

I make no apologies. I like signs. I like to photograph signs. The older the sign, the crustier the sign, the more interesting the sign...the better. Northern Montana has an abundance of old sings. I will finally be able to work on my "Letters of the Alphabet" set of photographs.

We all knew what was coming but still didn’t want to believe it. You kept going, breathing. In and out. In and out. Until you stopped. And that was it. You were gone. Just a body lying on a bed. The cancer won.
Three years ago today. It seems like forever ago, but I can still remember perfectly. You staring at me blankly. Me speaking into your ear hoping that you can hear me. Wondering how I would react when it finally happened. And then it did.
Three years ago today. I have learned it’s hard to live without somebody, but not impossible. That it takes time, time, and even more time. That some days it hurts more than others, but I am strong enough to pull through this.

15/10/2014; Not quite sure what this has to do with Christianity, the text for example wasn't looking very biblical to me (but then again, what do I know about the Bible?), but at least it's looking good in the Gärten der Welt.

For those that just saw this, please just refave it, I just wanted to show the exploded view.
Well, I finished the Bren Ten. it's a little rough in some places, but I'm lazy. Anyways it shows it here in full and preset sizes, along with an exploded view. Credit to Shock for the recolorable lettering. The gun is pretty easy to recolor, just ungroup a part once or twice.
