I'm clumsy, you my head's a mess

Cause you got me growing taller everyday

We're giants in a little man's world

My heart is pumping up so big that it could burst

Been trying so hard not to let it show

But you got me feeling like

I'm stepping on buildings, cars and boats

I swear I could touch the sky

Ohhh ohh ohhh

I'm ten feet tall

Ohhh oh ohhhh

I'm ten feet tall

I'll be careful, so don't be afraid

You're safe here, no, these arms won't let you break

I'll put up a sign in the clouds

So they all know that we ain't ever coming down

Been trying so hard not to let it show

But you got me feeling like

I'm stepping on buildings, cars and boats

I swear I could touch the sky

Ohhh oh ohhh

I'm ten feet tall

Ohhh oh ohhhh

I'm ten feet tall

You build me up

Make me what I never was

You build me up

From nothing into something

Yeah, something from the dust

Been trying so hard not to let it show

But you got me feeling like

I'm stepping on buildings, cars and boats

I swear I could touch the sky

Ohhh oh ohhh

I'm ten feet tall

Ohhh oh ohhhh

I'm ten feet tall

Tall Ships and brave sailors at Blyth! You wouldn't get me up there although I'd love to be on one of these fabulous ships...but not in rough seas!

PROVIDENCE - Built in 1903 she is a classic working vessel that has spent her entire life plying the sea earning a living as a commercial fishing vessel, coastal freighter and charter vessel. She carries her sail as a gaff rigged ketch and this combined with her classic lines (hull design) give her a distinguished look that draws admirers where ever she lands.

Providence is a stout built vessel of Baltic construction that was designed to haul loads of fish and cargo in the North Sea

Tall grass near sunset in the high desert. Captured April 19, 2020.

I found these flowers by the side of the road growing wild and didn't know what they were originally although I knew they weren't native. A little searching helped me identify them as tall verbena. Hope you like them :)

The Pilgrim is a full sized replica of the hide brig that Richard Henry Dana Jr worked on and wrote about in his novel Two Years Before the Mast. Anchored in Dana Point Harbor, California. Ships to Shore 2017 - Steveston

One of the world’s largest tall ships, the Kaiwo Maru visited Garry Point Park, Steveston this past weekend.

Built in 1989, this majestic tall ship sailing from Japan is 361 feet in length and has over 29,000 square feet in sails.

Also known as the 'King of the Sea'.

Kaiwo Maru is a Japanese four-masted training barque tall ship.

She was built in 1989 to replace a 1930 ship of the same name.

The Ships to Shore celebration attracted thousands upon thousands of people, anxious to catch what possibly could be a once in a lifetime glimpse of this magnificent sailing ship.

In the background there were nautical displays, carnival activities, food concessions, fireworks and much more...

As night fell, a live band drew and captivated a large audience of people.....truthfully, none of that seemed to distract myself nor many other dedicated photographers..

I know I couldn't 'steer clear' (so to speak) from this extraordinary ship's side, nor could I afford wasting one precious moment of what night fall was offering.

The dimming sky provided ongoing colour and light photog opportunities that enhanced the magic of this fine lady and her scenic surroundings.

A sight to 'sea'

Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!

That tall shadow belongs to a short quince...no, it's not a pear. I've never eaten one before but I'm not sure you can eat them raw. I've had quince paste so maybe they always need to be cooked first.
