Seems as though I can't get away from these types of shots because..well...I like em so much. Took this one last december on a outing with

The Squashed one, at Long Reef on Syndeys North Shore. The day started out pretty ordinary with not a single cloud in the sky, but then about 20 mins later, a massive front came though from the south (not sure if that sounds too good). Turned out to be a bit of fun indeed.

Its a single exposure using a Cokin GND8 and Circ Polarizer.

Day 28 of 365 days.

This is one of my most personal pieces ever. I have never done something like this. To be honest, I am scared out of my mind posting this. I don't even know if I will post this on facebook. I just wanted to create something so personal today. I wanted to create a piece of art I feel so connected to. & that's exactly what I did.

I yearn to travel the world. I want to feel the breeze of the ocean shore or the fresh air of the mountains. I want to explore the darkest corners of the earth & lay in the sand with the sun kissing my skin. I want Paris to swallow me & New York to drown me in their busy lives. I so want to travel the world with someone I love so dearly. I want to scream at the top of Machu Picchu. I want to run around in Syndey listening to everyone's unique way of speaking. I just want to get lost in this huge world, but I might get lost in this huge world with no one to go with.

Great shoot with Focus at Potter Point yesterday. Captured this 30 minutes before the sunrise. This is a 5 shot overlapping pano processed in PS. I’m quite happy how it turned out. Feel free to share.

From that distance you have to squint to see the hole!

Reasonably glorious sunrise at North Curl Curl a few weeks ago. I probably should take some more photos...

Sunset over Syndey's Middle Harbour

Photo taken from a spot which never cease to amaze me: Under the Syndey Harbour Bridge with a huge view on the CBD and the opera house. How more awesome can it get?

I think this is better enjoyed at large view :)

One of my favorite spot to take sunset from Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Not only you get 1 icon but you'll get two icons in one frame

The weather at that day was fascinating with stunning clouds and blue sky ... I hope you like this photo and to see a time lapse for this view , click on the link below :

Explore # 21 thank you :)

I was walking around a mall in Syndey and saw this wonderful blown up painting of the opera house under the harbour bridge.

The second I saw it, I had to recreate it.

So I cant take full credit

LPL Photo Update

Another Steelwool shot from my Lightpainting Session with Jason Ruth at Long Bay, Sydney.

Kerry 1-24 Dublin 1-07

Well done Kerry from a Sydney Silver Gull. Could not find a swam!

(For those who do not know one of the players was a Syndey Swan ie played football in Australia)

This bird is flying high as are all Kerry supporters this evening. I know they are only through to the semi-finals but we were worried!

No doubt Dublin will be back (as will the Roscommon minors). Kerry minors had to fight hard to win. Well done to them too.

Maybe as famous as the opera, this bridge is a major sight in Syndey. You can climb it, which must give a great view on the city. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to plan it the two times we visited the city. If you open the picture in big size, you can actually a group climbing down from the bridge.

Shot parameters:

- 28mm

- 100ISO

- f8

- 13 seconds

- RAW file... can't remember how much I post processed it, worked on that picture more than 2 years ago, but never too much done on my shots.

26th January 2010

Ahhh, one of my favourite days of the year, where all Australians can get together and ceebrate our heritage and our amazing country!

My parents got married on Australia day 19 years ago today and Sydney is an aweosme place to go down to celebrate the day.

At 8:25am we went down and climbed the Syndey Harbour Bridge, we got up there at the right time, we got to see the ferry race in Sydney Harbour and got to see all the people coming to see as well as spectacular views of circular quay, the Sydney opera house and the boat races.

It was a great day and I caught this picture of the Sydney Opera House. I altered it a lot becasue I wasn't very fond of it at first but i did like certain parts of it :)

Happy Australia Day

Squiggy Toes Bulldog

Going through photos and packing away and tossing out many items today I found this wonderful photo of Squiggy Toes.

It was taken in later September of 2001.

At that time I was on a bulldog chat.

At this time we had lived in town since mid March of 2001.

Living by the park and lake in town and dogs loved that area of town.

Squiggy , Sofie, Sydney bulldog , late Zelda dutch rabbit and the cats...With the last crossing over this past October 2008.

Squiggy would love invites if it's in your heart. If not's fine too.

Just don't shy away from Squiggy Toes.

Syndey bulldog would cross over the bridge that Dec. 20th of 2001.

It was at a time I was helping care for the litter Heffala came from by going over and feeding or changing papers and checking on pups.

Heffala moved in after Christmas 2008. She was born 10/30/01.

There was someone on line I'd met that made covers for dog collars.

I had her make USA flag covers for all the dogs.

Wish I'd found this photo yesterday during Veteran's Day.

Hope you don't mind but at times I will post photos of past pets.
