Clin d'oeil à " Blue Planet"
Une eau propre ,pas de gaspillage et un partage équitable.
Très bon W-E à tous.
Hells Gate is an abrupt narrowing of British Columbia's Fraser River, located in the southern Fraser Canyon. The towering rock walls of the river plunge toward each other forcing the waters through a passage only 35 metres (115 ft) wide, creating dangerous and powerful rapids.

Living here in the City has been an incredible experience. I've seen so many amazing things, eaten at so many different restaurants, driven up so many hills, checked out so many views... and seen a few stunning sunsets. A redo of this vantage point had been on my list for quite some time, and when I saw this long-burning sunset building up while the Giants were playing over in Kansas City in the World Series, I knew the time to capture this shot had come. Just a little traffic in the city on the way... ehh, nothing compared to LA. Note all the orange in the skyline: Coit Tower, Transamerica, Embarcadero buildings, etc... seems like more every year.
Then the Giants came back to town over the weekend and I bused it over to AT&T Park to stand outside the fence and watch. It was a total circus. Game 6 is tonight and the city will go orange and wild again!
Thoughts, suggestions, etc are welcome, as always! This is a single exposure at 35mm, slightly cropped.

Thanks to all of you who have followed my quest build a collection of 1000 droplet photos. The number is now exceeded.
This was taken just outside Drumheller. There used to be a mine on the other side of this cliff, but now the suspension bridge is the main attraction.

I have changed the title and this description in view of the tragic events that have unfolded at the Clifton Suspension Bridge today. It seems inappropriate to be celebrating today but I hope plans will go ahead at the weekend.
Rest in peace Charlotte and Zaani. More resources for mental health are long overdue in this country.
The last of my rushed attempts to photograph the fog in the Gorge on Sunday morning; by the time I had tried to make adjustments for the exposure the fog had pretty much gone. I've tried to eliminate the purple banding in the sky, I hope it's not too noticeable.

it's our loss. her work, all of it, was remarkably creative.
The much photographed Wilford suspension bridge over the River Trent, with the lack of sunset colours I opted for a long exposure mono instead
