Sure, there is a lot more work involved in growing your own fruit and vegetables but you get to experience the joy of standing with the afternoon sun shining on your back, listening to the chatter of the neighborhood children playing and the birds singing their tunes as your gather the ingredients to make your family a delicious meal. All moments to be cherished and called upon to warm the heart during those dreary winter months ♥
