Acer palmatum 'Garnet' heeft zeer fijne diep ingesneden rode bladeren. Van sommige soorten zijn de bladeren paarsrood en blijven dat de hele zomer. Zij kleuren in de herfst felrood.

Today, we played “hairdresser.” I created formulas for my fictional clients and then mixed and applied the color to a mannequin head. As I figured, I’m way too messy to be a stylist. I ended up with color all over the place.
