In this picture, I kept a strawberry in mineral water then I waited a few seconds , leaving enough bubbles where to look . Constructive criticism is welcome.

A friend brought me a carton of these English strawberries. Apparently the warm weather we had earlier in the year means a bumper crop.

The most difficult part of this "challenge" was getting the strawberry to drop perfectly into the water!
These strawberries were "captured" at a roadside stand in the Leelanau Peninsula, MI. Strawberry shortcake for dinner!
Note on July, 6, 2016: This one is from the archives. However, it is again strawberry time on the Leelanau Peninsula.
Sounds like an umbrella cocktail, but it's really a power drill with a skewered strawberry.
A single 25s exposure, with just some cleanup editing. (My glass table gets dusty fast.)
Oh, and the second strawberry is there to hide parts of of the setup. (I think it also helps define the surface plane.)

The strawberry season isn't over yet...we have a new variety that is out in stores right now and they are delicious.
It is a rainy day, off and on, around here so it is a good day to stay inside and play...like play with food and then eat them. :D

More fun with flash! This was the first time I have done strawberries into cream and was a lot of fun :-)
I made this strawberry shortcake from the last Panettone (Bauli Pandoro) I have from Christmas. The strawberries were on sale this week in one of our grocery stores, so perfect to try the recipe I got online. It came out good,..maybe because I put too much orange liqueur when I mixed it with the strawberries. :-) I made two and gave the other one to our next door neighbour.

Man, our garden is mass producing some delicious - gigantic strawberries this year!

I DON¨T LIKE STRAWBERRIES...
Took this shot a couple of months ago, and yes I don´t like strawberries!
I guess everybody love strawberries except me...
When I bought 1 kilo of strawberries, my wife was surprised because she thought that I´m gonna eat it... but no, I only took a pair of good looking ones for this shot and the rest was for them.
