These spiral stairs belong to Arif Paşa Konak (Resident). It is an old, ancient resident, that faces the time, resisting to the modern city. The resident owner, forbit strangers to enter the resident, as they are afraid that, their privacy will be disturbed. She is right--but I could not stop myself, re-entered there, and got this capture. It may be a crime, but I love to enter that old house, that has a real personality--and huge history inside..

He started with hello, by chance are you alone

I am Dr. Artimis Thyme

A sweeping bow cued a lone trombone

the pleasure is all mine

And we danced upon the rooftop of the old steam station

his rust colored eyes took me in

Intoxicating temptation

He held me close, then a spin

We waltzed upon the skylights

under the copper moon

Time stood still as we passed a century of nights

Love was our monsoon

You can make bad choices and find yourself in a downward spiral or you can find something that gets you out of it.

Rob did an awesome job of making these spirals for us. Thanks to Hubert, Kenny, Kris, and Rob for coming out on a Vancouver-area Four Thirds Photographers evening photowalk. Granville Island, Vancouver. September 5, 2012.

Just a bunch of notebook spirals.

I know that this could be better executed but I had no tripod and just a desk lamp as all my gear is in another city. But I like the DOF and how weird it looks anyway... =D
