The monument was designed by Sir Christopher Wren. It was built to commemorate the Great Fire of London 1666. Standing 202 feet high, the Monument is the tallest isolated stone column in the world. This was shot after climbing 311 steps.
These spiral stairs belong to Arif Paşa Konak (Resident). It is an old, ancient resident, that faces the time, resisting to the modern city. The resident owner, forbit strangers to enter the resident, as they are afraid that, their privacy will be disturbed. She is right--but I could not stop myself, re-entered there, and got this capture. It may be a crime, but I love to enter that old house, that has a real personality--and huge history inside..

You can make bad choices and find yourself in a downward spiral or you can find something that gets you out of it.

Spiral - Tulip Staircase in the Queen's House at Greenwich, London. It is a beautiful palace designed by Inigo Jones in the early C17th for the then Queen, Anne of Denmark.
Looking down the wooden spiral staircase in Heals department store in London near Goodge Street Tube Station. What makes it so distinctive is the beautiful wooden stair and the light installation hanging down from the ceiling and adding an extra to the atmosphere.
