When the child was a child
It was the time of the following questions
Why am I me and why not you
Why am I here and why not there
Why did time begin and where does space end
Isn't what I see and hear and smell
Just the appearance of the world in front of the world
Isn't life under the sun just a dream
Does evil actually exist in people
Who really are evil
Why can't it be that I who am
Wasn't before I was
And that sometime I, the I, I am
No longer will be the I, I am
~ Song of Being a Child by Van Morrison
These are some of souvenirs from my eldest daughter.
She traveled to Osaka, Kyoto and more.
Although she bought many many souvenirs, we already ate almost them. f(^_^;)

Dieting for the Energy experiment today. Tasty salmon with lemon, cheesecake, apple fondant, etc, prepared by French chef Ducasse. The kind of experiment I like!

Bought a Cybercandy mystery box, and got this awesome selection of sweets and candies from all over the world! Fantastic fun, and look forward to trying it all !!
Ever since I went to the Science Museum as a kid and saw it for the first time, I've always wanted to try 'space ice-cream'. JB brought me some back last time he went to London and I'm happy to say it was worth waiting 20 years to try, it was tasty!!

Põltsamaa is known as the wine capital of Estonia. All kinds of wine varieties, mostly berry wines, are produced here. The wine cellar is located in the courtyard of Põltsamaa Castle. The cellar is also home to the town’s Food Museum, whose exhibits include such unusual items as the food that was produced and packaged in tubes for Soviet cosmonauts. But some of the varieties also were marketed to children, as the display shows.
Was trying to get a shot of the larger springtail (4-5mm body length I think). When I looked at the image, I spotted a second, far, far tinier springtail had been picked up. I'd love to get an id on the larger one, and although the tiny one is way too small and indistinct here to id, are there any ideas on what it might be?
