Spent four hours photographing him in surrey in excellent company.

Springtime panorama of Surrey countryside looking south towards Reigate town in the distance, with Reigate Hill on the left and Colley Hill on the right.

Add a frost to the sunrise... and it makes for the golden glow

as the sun was just coming up behind me near Hambledon Church in Surrey

The temperature topped 23 degrees on Friday making it the hottest Halloween for 250 years or so apparently.

We went to Painshill Park (about 20 mins drive away) to celebrate autumn. Its an 18th century landscape garden created between 1738 and 1773.

Late in the day when I was passing a small nature area in Surrey B.C. I found quite interesting. Hope you enjoy it as well.

Stunning walks in the surrey countryside at Polesden Lacey

Painshill Park never disappoints, no matter what the season. Gorgeous light on Tuesday afternoon. Not a very creative composition, granted, but how could I resist?

It is such a wonderful building to view and to photograph

Thursley Common, Surrey at sunrise.

The 325 hectares of Thursley NNR holds extensive areas of open dry heathland, peat bogs, ponds, pine and deciduous woodlands, home to a thriving and varied amount of wildlife, much of which is rare and confined to heathlands.

Birds include Dartford Warblers, Stonechats, Long-tailed Tits, Goldcrests, Redstarts, Whitethroats and Wheatears.

Thursley is one of the best sites for dragonflies in the country.

Adders, Grass Snakes and Lizards can also be found.

Taken using OM 28mm 'vintage' lens on EM1.

My first attempt at a HDR panorama. 4 photos linked together of 5 shots each. Taken today at Painshill Park

My poor laptop, it took nearly 1 and a half hours to process!

Green eden in the woods of Surrey.

A patch of ancient woodland heaven just at the edge of the South Downs National Park on the Surrey / Sussex border.
