Not sure what this little creature is. I guess I'll have to leave it up to the lepidopterologists to help me out. The light was oh so perfect for a macro, and this guy just flew onto the echinacea flower I was about to photograph (serendipity!). My mother in law has lovely echinacea plants, and occasionally some interesting beasties fly onto them. Was lucky to catch this guy in the right light. Oshiro (Venus Laowa) 2:1 Macro lens, handheld, fairly high ISO (1250) to get to 1/1000th (again, handheld). Nikon d750.

Bokehlicious Dandelion seed head.
Saw a field of dandelions this morning so I decided to take a few macro shots.
Dandelion - after the seed is released, the parachutes lose their feathered structure and take on a fuzzy, cotton-like appearance, often called "dandelion snow."

The softer tones of November... As if nature was slowly preparing us to the monochromatic state of the next season. (No processing other than cropping and vignette)
Estas glicinas florecidas son para mi querida Montse Poch. Creo que si hay alguien en flickr que le gusten las flores tanto como a mi, es a ella. Además, son casi siempre flores que nos encontramos por el campo, por las aceras, por los jardines de las casas. Casi siempre flores silvestres, bonitas y fotogénicas.
Las fotos de Montse son divinas, en luminosidad, nitidez, colores, encuadre... son perfectas. Ya lo dije una vez y lo vuelvo a repetir, es una de mis fotógrafas preferidas de Flickr. Como persona un auténtico cielo, muy muy maja.
Te mando las glicinas (no se cual es su nombre científico .... jajajaj) espero te gusten.

Esta ramita de almendro (no está cortada) es del almendro que tengo en casa, me lo regaló mi madre hará unos 5 años. Es pequeñito, no crece mucho y este es el primer año que está totalmente florido.
Se la dedico a mi madre, por el gusto exquisito en todo lo que hace y que me hace ver a diario.

Soft-tone pampas...
I believe that soft tone film is better for outdoor shots- definitely with flash...
It might be interesting to mention that i'm not in a forest or in field or somewhere in nature... Actually i'm in the center of the city surrounded by cars, buses and noise. And no, my city doesn't look like countryside at all.
