Every time I see one now, I'll imagine them sitting with their feet up watching telly inside their shell :-)
Happy Snail Saturday my fine flickr friends.
We've had a lot of rain here recently. A few weeks ago, I went for a walk after a rain and found many snails climbing on the trees around my house. I'm not sure why the rain caused them to come out. Parke County, Indiana
Hope your Saturday is a good one, I'll try and catch up with all your wonderful images when/if I can but internet is a bit slow staying with my Son this weekend (and of course gorgeous grandson) ;0) HSS (3snails + tiny one in the background)

I was snapping pictures of a tiny metallic fly when I saw this little snail through the leaves and fallen petals of a rose bush. You can see by his alert eye-stalks that he was NOT actually asleep. I don't even know if snails DO sleep! He just had that look, all "curled up" on his rose petal blanket.

Came across this snail family slowly making it's way across the path. The little ones just kept crawling over the two bigger ones.

I used to collect empty apple snail shells in the swamp, but this is the first one I've seen alive in the wild!
