This is the full colour version of the one I posted a few weeks ago, the River Thames at Erith, Kent 20 minute walk from where we live, taken in the late evening with the tide out, I could not believe that sky almost forgot to take photos! taken on fujichrome slide film and scanned in!
This boat zoomed by as I was sitting on my pontoon boat taking image of the sunset on the lake. The skies were amazing to me. I think the guy driving the boat was much enjoying the lake and sunset too. How could one not enjoy that sky

This was taken over the Crayford marshes in January 2009 and those streaks in that sky is actually falling snow and coloured by the sunrise!
This is Englands famous Seven Sisters on the sussex coast, it's all to do with mood and atmosphere and of course that fabulous sky!
Thought this sky deserved another outing, don't have much in my archives and this was noisey\ flared and other yucky stuff so tried some rescue work but had haven't had time to go to crazy on it. Would have preferred some more foreground interest but to get a close view with my lenses this was the best I could do. Its Almost Monday Ahhhh!!
Thought this was a good splash of colour after my last few B&W /toned images

The sky at Preston beach, Paignton takes on an apocalyptic look as the Sun tries to break from behind dark low cloud reflecting off the sand at low tide.
just another sunset from Mono Lake!! it was awesome there, the water was still and flat, looked like a mirror. and then the sky went off!! it was a beautiful thing to see.

Blue without the blues ~
The sky reflected my feelings today just like the clouds going every which way and fading into different colors.. My dear friend Mike passed away last year at this time.. I know he's in a better place, but he is missed dearly by all who knew and loved him ...
Just could not have asked for a better sunset........all the color you see here is what I saw with my own eyes when I shot this.....and the long exposure just helped to carry the color all through the sky and water!!!!
Have a great weekend my friends....
I will be hanging out here on Sunday looking and commenting on all your streams.....I know I have been bad at doing that lately!!!!!
The sky grew darker, painted blue on blue, one stroke at a time, into deeper and deeper shades of night.
Back in winter 2013 I took a picture of this tree in the snow and I decided then it would be nice to have one of every season. In Autumn 2014 I managed to cpature the Autumn one and last week I finally nailed this spring shot. Hopefully everything will fall into place this summer so I can get the last in the series.
This receding storm produced a tornado a mile from where I lived. The colors and layers were amazing, and no one photo can quite convey the grandeur. Colors ranged from icy turquoise to intense golds and pinks, and everything was swirling and counter-swirling.
