Sometimes in life it's simply the time for small gifts aside the days of consumption like Christmas or looting tours like Halloween. Just look at this chain of gifts: The plant offered me an artistic staged drop of life gifting water, for that I gifted her a moment as my model with exposure on flickr. She in return used the water's reflection (a skillful movement of her small petals) to get me into the frame and bestowed me a portion of the glory as well. With that she gained my pleased smile. On Saturday. Crazy.
I stacked 24 images for this picture to get all the delicious details with buttery smooth bokeh in a sea of petal chaos.

Geschenk des Lebens
Manchmal im Leben ist einfach die Zeit für kleine Geschenke abseits der großen Konsumtage wie Weihnachten oder Plündertouren an Helloween. Schaut euch nur diese Serie von Geschenken an: Die Pflanze bot mir einen künstlerisch in Szene gesetzten Tropfen Leben schenkendes Wasser an, dafür schenkte ich ihr einen Augenblick als mein Model mit Rampenlicht auf flickr. Sie im Gegenzug holte mich über die Wasserreflektion (eine geschickte Drehung ihrer kleinen Blätter) mit ins Bild und spendete mir so einen Teil des Ruhms. Damit erwarb sie sich mein erfreutes Lächeln. Am Samstag. Verrückt.
Ich habe 24 Bilder für diese Aufnahme gestackt, um all die köstlichen Details mit butterweichem Bokeh in einem Meer aus Blättern zu erhalten.

The world famous Falkirk Wheel in FALKIRK, SCOTLAND. I live not far from the wheel which is surrounded by nature trails and the site where once stood a Roman Fort. at the Antonine Wall which runs through F ALKIRK and my back garden. The Falkirk Wheel a barge lift and a feat of skillful engineering, takes boats from the Forth & Clyde canal to the Union canal . People come from all over the world to view the wheel and it is well worth the visit. Surrounded by beautiful countryside. I am very lucky to live here as its a phtographers haven.

one of the main characters commits a reprehensible act - he is surely mad but his type of madness is so close to tenderness that our judgment of him is suspended or in a kind of limbo (for me it was at least)
An interesting view of the Blue Angels over Baltimore yesterday, captured from Middle River about 6 to 8 miles away. The arcs being made across the sky were a joy to see ... and you could still hear these planes in action from that far away.
The pilots evidently spent some time on the Baltimore Beltway system, as they must have learned this maneuver from our skillful motorists ... have seen this turn made many times while driving the highways here when cars change three lanes at a time :))
i have no idea what this is...however it seems to float above it's foliage because it's stem is over a foot long.

the guys at southern trillium lansdscape design are in the process of creating a series of gardens, paths and structures, basically, creating for me a new paradise (at least in my mind) for me to come home to every day.
if you are in the Atlanta area and need landscape design work done, please at least look at southern trillium. i have not had the luxury of working with such skillful and thoughtful designers and contractors since i moved here.

Had some good luck during a recent boat cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park not one but 3 whales were breaching during our trip, our captain was very skillful and knowledgeable to get us a front row seat for the event! This whale was breaching in Aialik Bay. Kenai Fjords National Park Alaska, USA
The Red Arrows at Minehead this afternoon.
We walked to the front from Dunster Beach, and decided to station ourselves on the rocks that end of the beach rather than along the front - this was a masterstroke as a lot of the display took place close to us, and overhead!

Uhmmm. I really like eyes.
I'm gunna hang out with Christacean on Friday. I'm gunna take pictures of his eyes. They're so pretty. They're super super super epically blue. And I'm gunna stalk him and take pictures for him. And then we're gunna play with Legos. And then we're gunna mess around on Photoshop and I'm gonna try and teach him what I know (which is a pitifully small amount) and IT'S GOING TO BE SO FUN.
I'm eighteen in NINE days. It will be eight in less than sixty seconds.
I don't like that you can see the light reflection. I was going to try and Photoshop it out, but then I didn't because I'm on the Mac and it doesn't have Photoshop. And I probably am not skillful enough to do it anyways. I was just super stoked about this picture so I uploaded it anyways. I might try and take another one tomorrow during the day so I won't have the lightbulb reflection.

After the Tour de France, now we are busy with the Russia 2018 World Cup.
As I watched France Vs Belgium in the semifinal, It was so amazing that the very best of France's goal keeper Hugo Lloris saved the sprite and the relatively played clean and skillful in the whole team. Viva France!
Congratulations France, you did it!!!
Technical Remarks:
This photo was shot and edited by using my cellphone. Cellphones are getting more attention by professional photographers recently. Especially when Huawei P20 hits the market this year. It is gonna be the game changer of the time. I will tell you more later how a Huawei cellphone out performed a DSLR camers in northern light photography.

In recognition, the Ming Dynasty emperor granted the title of 'Skillful Sculptor' to Hani people and their good reputation was passed down from generation to generation. At present, known as 'land sculpture' the terraced fields have been being officially acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site.

Nature's amazing beauty is everywhere and this little spider's web, filled with dew and rain during the night, just beckoned me to capture the moment. The dewdrops just sparkled like little diamonds! I have been trying for this shot for what seems like ages. On Sunday morning the conditions at Findochty harbour were near ideal.
In North American Indian lore, the dragonfly is the essence of the winds of change, representing messages of wisdom and enlightenment; and communication from the elemental world. The dragonfly possesses the ability to see through illusion. They bring prosperity and harmony, and they teach skillful action while maintaining a free and joyful sense of being. The dragonfly brings the light and colour of transformation into your life.
