Still feeling wintery... and slightly experimental. If you've been following along, you know that to call me a "representational artist" is an understatement. So, the fact that the majority of this piece was out of my head and just went with the flow of the paint spatters is very different in this series.
It was fun to change things up. I like it.

Mmmm.... we picked up some limited edition Zingerman's bread yesterday. It's called Chios Mastiha bread.
From their website:
"Mastiha - mastic gum from a resin tree - is an ancient, uniquely aromatic Greek spice. Greek folk lore has it that only Chias, mastic trees on the island of Chios in the Aegean, shed these aromatic tears.
