Tonight was a magical night for the beach and the water was so warm!
I got a great workout running and dragging the boys (not so light) on their boards...looooooooooved it! :)

November is the right time to make sunset photos at the Thar desert to be able to have the rounder sun images, because it was the beginning of he monsoon season. I made use of this condition to make some sillhouette photos of the camels, camel herders, and the desert dancers.

Wow...I can't believe the last thing I uploaded was the irises back in....May? Maybe June. I've been a busy bee. And not flickring very much. BUT, part of the busy-ness was an amazing trip to Jamaica with my girlfriends! We grew up together and starting when we turned 40, we go on a big trip together every five years. We turned 45 this year, and we decided to go to Jamaica! Of course, it was beautiful! This is one of my favorite pics from the trip. I'm disappointed because I took it with my iPhone and not the Nikon. The only reason I'm disappointed is because I'm worried about the quality. You see, I think I'd like to include it in this year's calendar (and I still may), but I have always made it a rule to not use photos from my phone in the calendar because I'm worried I'll order 50 calendars and then be disappointed with the quality of a phone pic. What do you think? Do you think it's safe to use them? I've been using Snapfish to make the calendars. I've noticed that the darker images come out MUCH darker in the finished product. I don't think THIS image would suffer in that way, but I wonder if a photo from a phone would suffer in sharpness. Any thoughts?
Anyway, the second I took this shot, I realized I needed the "good" camera, ran back to get it, but we were at dinner, and the waiter was taking our order at that exact moment, and I needed to wait a few minutes. By the time I got back, the light had changed significantly (as sunsets are prone to doing), and the other shots just didn't come out as nice. They are still beautiful, but the pretty warm sunset colors weren't there. They were more bluish.
I'm hoping to be uploading more pics soon. From my Jamaica trip and other things.
One cool thing that happened recently is I met another flickr friend in person. Someone I met here a long time ago and I was really happy to meet. I will leave all guessing until I post pics from that meet up!
