Studio 26 silhouette assignment. Chose this one because it had a nice sharp outline and I got Jasper in profile (helps to have the female human along to help direct) Jasper surveys his domain in the early desert sun. We've had some clouds the past couple mornings which is a bit unusual. However we've officially entered the summer monsoon season and so mornings can be downright humid - 49% humidity this morning. May not seem like a lot compared to some parts of the world, but for us desert dwellers, used to single-digit humidity, that's pretty sticky.

This one stopped and hovered at just the wrong angle to the sun. Or that is what I thought as I hit the shutter. But I was wrong. The back light showed a lovely silhouette of each feather in this graceful hunter. .
