The cathedral of Sts Michel et Gudule, the national church of Belgium in Brussels. Another picture taken at an ultra wide angle.

This is one place i have always wanted to go to, and whilst driving down the W.A. coast I saw a sign for The Pinnacles, I could not believe it and detoured .Unfortunately it was getting close to midday and not morning or afternoon like I had wanted or night for that matter. Anyways , here is the 1st of many. more to come.

5DII and Siggy 12-24mm 5x shot stitch.

Stealth Engine. One of the engines from the Lockheed SR-71A Blackbird Stealth Spy plane at Duxford War Museum. #HDR image made from 7 exposures from -3 to +3 EV. Canon 5D Mark iii. #arthakker The Topaz Clarity Plug-In worked great here!

As i mentioned in my comment, the whole card was fenced (you can see the white fence) - fortunately the didn't use the white plastic sheet on the fence where i'm standing in this photo... So I really had no other choice of composing this photo - there would've been some other cool angles.

Cross processed in Photoshop and straightened the lines a bit.

After an amazing day yesterday its back to the storms here on the IOW this morning, so i've dragged something suitably bleak from the archives. Looks like a monochrome edit, but its actually full colour!

Another long exposures from ‘The Cobb’ at Lyme Regis

8x shot panorama of Box Head and Lion Island shot from headland at south Umina.

Shot with Canon EOS 60D and Sigma 12-24mm.

It’s been 3 months since i’ve shot anything new just for the fun of it and almost as long since i’ve been on Flickr and shared anything new.

That’s not to say i’ve not enjoyed all the work i’ve done over the summer, just that its left me no time for recreational photography and it was really nice to be out there again last night enjoying the evening light, mucking about with exposures and vertoramas and grabbing a few landscapes along the way.

Nothing too spectacular about the results, just another sunset on the beach i’ve shot many times before.

View On Black - Attention, you might get sucked into your display ;-)

Metro Station "Marienplatz" in Munich.

Mirrored in Photoshop

The D700 was really great-to-have in the metro stations - i only had to use ISO 900 here, but in other stations i even had to crank it up to 12800. No way i could have gotten all those shots handheld with another camera.

If you wonder, why most of my metro photos have an exposure time of 1/15sec - it's the time I've set as a minimum for the auto ISO function.

Have a nice weekend!

Summer. Not much left these days, but i decided to not post another fall photo today ;)

Another one from my bale of straw series i forgot to post earlier

Yes, it's a DRI again and again automatically merged in Photoshop using Mean Stacking Mode from Photoshop's Smart Objects.

Cross Processed using Curves (just dragged the R,G and B curves as long till i was pleased with the colors) and the added the always nice glamour glow to the sun to make it softer.

Finally i decided to strengthen the shadow of the bale by creating a new empty layer in overlay mode and painting with a black brush at 35% opacity.

...into the blue

Köbogen Düsseldorf

...well i risked it - and i live :) Just as i stepped out of the door, the sun peeked through for a short moment - that's the only shot i got, before it disappeared again.

Only one shot (Singh Ray 3 Stop Hard Grad ND Filter used to create the contrast between sky and field).

Looks way better on Black
