Behold then, coming toward us in a boat, an aged man, all white with ancient hair, who shouted:
“Woe to you, ye souls depraved! Give up all hope of ever seeing Heaven! I come to take you to the other shore, into eternal darkness, heat and cold. And thou that yonder art, a living soul, withdraw thee from those fellows that are dead.”
But when he saw that I did not withdraw, he said:
“By other roads and other ferries shalt thou attain a shore to pass across, not here; a lighter boat must carry thee.”

A sunset shot taken in Langkawi Island Malaysia
I think the people silhouette adds some interest to this image, not sure what the guy was up to, he could be proposing to the girl :D
The previous image was taken by the parking lot strip. After a few shots I changed lens and walked down to the shore to take some wide angle images.
During our stay in Banff, we went by this lake several times however, only once we were able to see the breathtaking reflection of the mountains, because we came at the right time, when the water was still and clear.
Thank you for your comments,
Gemma

Last colour in the sky as the sun disappears behind Mt. Tamborine. Taken from the shores of Regatta Waters, Oxenford, QLD. Australia
What a phenomenal place for photography! Once a private estate of a local millionaire, it is one of the most spectacular locations on the Oregon coast.
Decided to get up for sunrise and headed over the water to the Kingdom of Fife, Seafield, Kirkcaldy to be precise. Made an arse of the sunrise shots by forgetting to close down the aperture after opening it right up to compose the LE shots. Was first visit to here so putting it down to more of a recce now!

The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. To dig for treasures shows not only impatience and greed, but lack of faith. Patience, patience, patience, is what the sea teaches. Patience and faith. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach -- waiting for a gift from the sea.
