Lake Te Anau - South Island - New Zealand

Canon EOS 5D MKII - Canon EF L Lens 17-40mm

As we drove through Te Anau we were welcomed by the calmest lake covered with a slow lifting fog. I looked around for a nice composition and came across this cool jetty next to the Sailing Club. It was almost as though time had slowed. No pressure, no panic...... just completely calm and controlled. Felt so right being in this one place at that exact time.

I have been out of photography for quite a long time...well long story short..I ruined my equipment in one of my treks back home..and I couldnt get back on the saddle..just not feeling it anymore..I am still trying to grapple with it at times and I hope I can come around quickly enough...

Anyway, I am in the UK for a few months and eventhough I could not venture out much as it has already become pretty cold and murky here, We had a lovely sunday and thought I shouldnt be wasting it...So we had headed to the Warwick Castle. This is the boathouse across the Avon River.

I happened to buy a new camera before I got here (yes a new one) and I am again taking my steps back into where I used to be...for so long, but then I find it extrememly difficult to do it..I hesitated a lot but then shot a few pics out there and thought of sharing one and make myself more regular with all your streams...

Hope all is well with you all and I sincerely thank everyone who wrote to me and visit my stream asking about how I am doing...there is never such a feeling that you get out of someone dropping by to ask of you...Thanks again for all that and I hope I will be able to regain my confidence and my long lost passion...

Sorry for the absence …. lightning surge burned out both laptop cables. It's taken this long to import a replacement from the US AND for fed ex to find a map :)

Many things had happened in my life.

I guess it takes a strong person to resist depression during the lowest and darkest times. I think i have done well. I never wanted luxury or a glamorous life. All i ever wanted has always been very simple.

I want serenity in my life.

Enough said.

Listen to this view... (MUST LISTEN) hehe...

The Daibutsu (Great Buddha) of the Todai-Ji Temple is Japan's largest Buddha Statue. It is made of copper and bronze, weighs 500 tons and stands 15 meters tall (49 feet).

Thanks very much for the visits and comments, everyone!

“Faith is not simply a patience that passively suffers until the storm is past. Rather, it is a spirit that bears things - with resignations, yes, but above all, with blazing, serene hope.”

I was back in Johnstone strait for the fifth summer in a row. I didn't work for Orcalab this time, I was there kayaking for 5 days only. That evening the water was amazingly glassy and the A8 matriline cruised by Kaikash, we were alone with the whales..(This is A66). BC.

This is a composite for my Fine Art Photography series .

to accept the things I cannot change;
