Ice magic at The Cove Beach in Goderich. High winds and extremely cold temperatures caused the waves to wash over the trees on the breakwater and make these awesome ice sculptures.

The sculptures are placed on an 850 metre long axis divided into 5 main units: Main Entrance, The Bridge with the children's playground, The Fountain, The Monolith Plateau and The Wheel of Life.

A sculpture that's outside of 7 WTC (not shown). It's a 9ft,multi-lobed,stainless steel artwork called "Balloon Flower (Red)"by Jeff Koons. The sculpture mimics-on a colossal scale-twisted balloon creations,a staple at children's parties.7 WTC as you may remember was the last WTC building to collapse on 9/11.The new 7 WTC was the first of the WTC complex towers to be constructed. The artist had hoped that the sculpture would convey a message of cheer in a time of somberness. When I saw the sculpture a few years ago my reaction to it certainly was not that of cheerfulness, but more like,"What is it?"

Have a nice weekend, my friends!

These two scenes of the altarpiece of the Seven Joys of the Virgin in the church of Brou representing the Annunciation and the Visitation allow us to admire all the beauty and finesse of this white marble sculpture dating from the 16th century.

Monument in the park next to the Louvres museum in Paris. Don't really recall if this bird was landing or taking off. Turned out to be a funny picture.

Like many, I have taken more photos of her than any other piece. And to think it was Saint-Gaudens only nude statue.

I see these lions at the end of a drive way on my route to work every day. I always laugh a little because I recently read a novel that joked about tacky lion sculptures guarding the entrance to a house. Today I decided to stop by and snap a few shots.

I processed this one into three different looks: one true(r) to the original colors, one in black and white, and one in a gold split tone. Thoughts?
