If you ever find yourself in Douglas County this time of year, make sure and take the time to travel along this short but beautiful back road. This image was taken on the western portion of the road which is also called the Kansas Capitol Trail and is located between Lecompton and Tecumseh.

Cedar Bluff derives it's name from a 1/2 mile of 100 foot chalk bluffs located on the SW portion of the property that is a scenic attraction to visit.
The next time I climb this high & stand this close to the edge I plan to tether myself to my vehicle.

A few miles down the track from the rather more famous railway viaduct at Glenfinnan. A shorter bridge but equally as picturesque, at the head of Loch nan Uamh.
