Some things I didn't know about the dandelion (Taraxacum officinale): rich in minerals & vitamins A, B, C & D and naturally high in sodium & potassium. The roots were once used medicinally, and for making dandelion tea, which is a superior natural diuretic and detoxifies and induces the flow of bile from the liver, reduces uric acid from the system.
Thought I would brighten up the ol' photostream a bit with some brightness and warmth of a summer sunflower against an August sky in Texas. From the archives, just for you!
