An old abandoned car stands in the middle of Nelson, NV next to one of the most famous gold and silver mining area during the 1800s. The beauty of this town stood still over the years despite the dark past and murders that came with it.

Set in 1959, Rural Electric is the story of one of the last parishes in Donegal to get the "electric", and as such reveals the epic achievements of the brave E.S.B. workers as they battle the elements putting up poles and stretching cable across inhospitable hills.
A host of characters step forward from the mists of time to inhabit this fictional parish in a truly inventive one man show that combines physical theatre, comedy, original music and even a car chase!

Rural Kos, with a road leading to Kos Town to the left. The road to the right leads to various parts of southern and eastern Kos, but also back to the road behind me. Many parts of Kos has an arid steppe-like environment but with patches of coniferous forests on northern slopes of eastern mountain range. A dormant Turkish volcano (lava dome) can be seen in the distance to the left over the water (see inset).

An outlet for the Harcourt Rural System. Our Harcourt Rural Modernisation Project is the construction of a pressurised piped system to serve the region’s strong agricultural community into the future. When constructed, the 100+ year old open channel system will be closed. Water from the current Harcourt system is only available from November to May each year and water losses are up to 50 per cent of water supplied. The new system will be available 365 days-a-year and will save approximately 950 megalitres of water annually.
