I got this shot of a rural dusk near Ashbourne in South Australia, it's a quintessential Australia scene of a gnarled but beautiful eucalypt against the rolling hills of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The house's tractor & Bus are from Beamish Museum. Sky field's & railway bridge from near where I live.Train is from Bluebell Railway.Finished in nik efex.
So many covered bridges to discover in Lancaster County, PA! Most I found were still in use, as was this one.
An old farmhouse at Silverdale, seen from one of the hides on the RSPB reserve. The chimney rarely smokes nowadays, but the sun gives a vivid light across the lush landscape of the reedbeds in the foreground.

A location far away from it all, must have a been a beautiful place to live in it's heyday. My one abiding memory from this location will be the excrement room and the scuffling sound from the attic, the source of said excrement :-s

We were greeted Sunday morning with this very heavy hoarfrost. Due to other obligations, I wasn't able to get out with my camera until mid-morning! Yeah, I fussed about it all day! :(
