1st day offering of Mela or Medicine Sand Mandala (actually tiny grains of crushed marble) by Tashi Lhunpo Tibetan monks from Bylecuppe. It represents an architectural blueprint of the enlightened mind and is a contempletive aid in visualization meditation.

On the last day they destroy the entire mandala and return it to the earth representing the impermanence of life.
