Cotoneaster frigidus (tree cotoneaster) is a species of flowering plant in the genus Cotoneaster of the family Rosaceae, native to the Himalayas. It is a small tree up to 15 metres. The red berries are highly attractive to many birds. The fruits are carried in such huge clusters that they weigh down the branches.
