This is a look at the one wall of Gallery 837 in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Gallery seems to specialize in painting from the Paris Salon that attracted affluent American collectors. Judging by the provenance of this wall it seems to represent the relationship between Paris and New York. All of the painting on this wall went straight from Paris showing to New York collectors.
I often posted photos of the two in the center because they were quite fascinating to me when I was young. They are Springtime and The Storm by Pierre Auguste Cot. But for Met Museum links that explain these works the back wall paintings are (L. to R.) Young Mother Gazing at Her Child by William Bouguereau, Springtime and The Storm by Pierre Auguste Cot and Breton Brother and Sister by William Bouguereau.
I guess you could call this view "the Bouguereau and Cot wall" but sitting at this museum bench the mood can get pretty romantic.

One of the coziest places I have ever stayed in. But it isn't only one of the coziest place, it is one of the smallest houses I have ever stayed in. This is essentially it so forget standing up inside.
It is located a bit off from other buildings inside the rain forest with windows overhead. That means that you can lie down and look out onto the sky which if you are lucky are filled with stars. It is also aptly named the Stargazer. Illumination (and heat) is provided by a series of tealights which you can place around the "bed".
You should watch this Large On Black since that brings out a lot more detail. My pictures aren't balanced for a white background and a lot of the finer details are lost in this small format.

On my holiday through italy we obviously visited Florence, a great city with several great old buildings.
When I saw the bridge (Arno-Brücke) at noon, I thought in sunset it would give me a wonderful scene.
Finally the sun disappeared behind the bridge but was reflected by the river Arno.
My first shots were made from the other side of the river but then I saw these covered tables and there we are. That's the final result.
