I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year? This is a shot from North Lake Tahoe, Nevada. After a 5th attempt during Thanksgiving weekend the conditions finally came together. The lake was so calm and the light was amazing! May the light be with you my friends. Jave

Another view of the bench that was frozen over. The picture is from a trip I had last December, it had been freezing cold outside for a long period and with no precipitation of any kind. Best seen in large on black background. All comments are appreciated.

It's very rare that we get to see frozen lakes here in the West Coast. The last time the road to this lake was open in January was 1976. This past January Diego and I spend a couple of days admiring the frozen lakes. This is Tenaya Lake, located in Yosemite National Park, CA. Have a great week everyone and may the light be with you.
