The Kremlin wall, Lenin,s Mausoleum and St Basils Cathedral.

I published an image of St Basils last year but the light and sky was not that great. During the trip this year there were some nice cloud formations behind the cathedral and the light was a little better. It is a truely spectacular sight. no wonder Stalin spared the cathedral (but not after some threats and counter threats).

The inside is also quite interesting and each dome represents a small room on the inseide....

this huge shopping centre was built in the 19th century and is situated on the red square. built in so called pseudo-russian style and it is very beautiful!
