Well and you know me too well.

She didn't expect to meet old friends. These days everything had a price tag, and people around her were aware of hers.

Now there was ...REAL people again. Truthful people whom she did not want to betray.

And an old friend who's appearance made her heart jump - quite some. She obviously had not yet forgotten how trusting worked and she started believing that she might not be as alone on her way out, as she had first assumed.

Willem Vermandere telling a funny story as only he can. A lovely moment.

Oh tell me, dear one, of all the adventures in which you have partaken. Tell me of the way you see the world, its never ending turn thrusting through space. Tell me of the spirits that flow like the river, gentle and chaotic. Tell me of the melodies that are sung by the wind, mellifluous and euphoric. I want to learn to see the world as a great painting in which everything exists in constant motion and all things live forever.

The light is clearing finally. This is Madison, expect more from the girl with the spirit of sunsets.

"When you're with me there's a light and I can see my way

When you speak to me it's a song and I know what to say

When you listen there's a hope and I know I'm being hurt

When you smile at me and I know and we don't have to speak a word.

When you're with me there's a light and I can see my way

When you speak to me it's a song and I know what to say."

Frosty is waiting for her sister to arrive - they are the same and yet very different but they both share one wish: to protect each other from which ever harm may come upon them.

We went to the amazing Eden Project to see the amazing Raconteurs last night. They were fresh from Glastonbury and remarked on how good the air was in Cornwall! The biomes (at the back of the photo) were lit up for the event, and pulsed in time with the music...

Big bands rarely make it into Cornwall, so the Eden Sessions are extremely popular. If you've never been to Eden it's well worth a visit!

FOR MOVEMBER.

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men's suicide.

I now have taken on the challenge, one photo each day: a month of men with moustache and beard, LOL, HELP…

Willem is a multi-faceted man, a sculptor, poet, musician, writer and above all... a raconteur.

Here sitting in his studio, the afternoon sun caressed his face...

The legendary high priestess of punk, author, poet, and raconteur, Patti Smith, performed her debut album, Horses, from 1975, in full at Sydney's beautiful State Theatre. The show also featured some of her other more famous songs including Because The Night, People Have The Power, Dancing Barefoot and Privilege. She encored with a wild feedback-laden version of The Who's My Generation. A wonderful evening with a stellar band and seminal figure in music.

Today was another really tough day of hard work.

It started badly with the viewing of our work on the "Tea or Coffee" weekly theme with our studio teacher, and the work we did was not what he was thinking about.

We were too late at noon to grab the equipment we needed for the work of the afternoon so we had to eat something as quickly as possible and get back to the studio to finally take away a Mamiya RB67, a studio flash and a 120 Superia 400 ISO film.

We had less then 3 hours to go to town and shoot the film in order to make portraits on location of people working.

I was with Loic, Hugo and Florent with only 1 medium format camera for all of us... 4 different places to go to, including time to meet the guys, set up, find the good light, the good settings, to shoot, and to pack all things again... And be on time at school for the economic course, the "finish to kill" last course of the day until 7.15PM...

Luckily we met Simon who's already done his job and he lend to Loic and I his own RB67.

Loic had a appointment at Corezone shop but first we went to Hurley shop to shoot my film.

I've been there several times to take some testing portrait for shool, and the guys over there are really too nice and cool ! A huge thanks to them !

So this was a testing shot we did with the 7D to test the light before shooting with the Mamiya. Can't wait to see the analog results, this was a test for our studio course and my teacher will judge me on this work.

Also Loic did some cool shot with the Corezone shop's crew who are awesome !

Today I've chosen to quote lyrics from a Jack White's band The Raconteurs because it's a huge song and it's also on the original soundtrack of an awesome surf movie with Rob Machado.

I'm a huge fan of The Raconteurs and Jack White's music in fact.

Rob Machado is the guy on the picture behind Loic, it's an awesome surfer sponsored by Hurley that you should watch surfing !

"Many Shades of Black" by the Raconteurs.

While coming up with an idea for today's song, it occurred to me that if I go directly by the meaning of each song, I'll end up with at least a dozen images of dysfunctional relationships. So for "Many Shades of Black," I imagined the type of girl to whom Jack White might be speaking, dressed her in many shades of black and gave her a pose and expression that say, "Whatever, Jack. I dare you to live without me."
