She may be small, but what a grand place to lay your head in Bonavista, NL. I've spent many nights on the road, and have stayed at a lot of hotels/motels (ranging from Roach to 5 Star), and this place ranks up there with the best. This is the rear side of The Harbour Quarters as the sun was setting in my previous shot. NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has been in orbit around the Moon since the summer of 2009. Its laser altimeter (LOLA) and camera (LROC) are recording the rugged, airless lunar terrain in exceptional detail, making it possible to visualize the Moon with unprecedented fidelity. This is especially evident in the long shadows cast near the terminator, or day-night line. The pummeled, craggy landscape thrown into high relief at the terminator would be impossible to recreate in the computer without global terrain maps like those from LRO.

I am sure that this will be a well used object. This is the Obverse side of our Canadian quarter. Ordinarily the coin features a caribou, the quarter has the most commonly altered reverse in Canada, and is the usual venue for commemorative issues.
