Golden hour at Prescott Farm, a colonial farm site on Aquidneck Island and, according to the website, "the site of a significant event in the American Revolution" (basically, the abduction of British Lieutenant-General Richard Prescott by American Lieutenant-Colonel William Barton and like 30 guys). The grounds are free and open to the public, with gardens maintained by a team of Master Gardeners in partnership with the University of Rhode Island (URI) Master Gardeners program.

"Pyrotechnics in Prescott:" I apologize for the delinquency in my posting, but this was from this summer's 4th of July celebration of fireworks at Watson Lake. The full moon had just begun to crest over Glassford Hill to be able to help illuminate some of the granite boulders in front of me on the lake. I just wanted to take a moment to thank those involved in the planning and delivery of the event, including the fireworks technicians, the City of Prescott, and everyone else involved in helping our town try to have a safe and positive Independence Day celebration.

Rolling west to the next customer, H31 catches some nice golden light at Prescott, Pa. My original idea for a shot had been thwarted by shadows, but this turned out to be a good compromise.
Located at the edge of the Piscataqua River and across from Strawbery Banke Museum, Prescott Park was donated to the City of Portsmouth around the turn of the century by two sisters, Josie and Sarah Prescott.
The popular waterfront park features extensive flower gardens, including large demonstration beds where many varieties of flowers are shown each summer.
The park also is the site of one of New England’s most popular outdoor summer events, the Prescott Park Arts Festival, which during July and part of August presents a musical and dozens of performances by musicians and theater groups. Since 1974 the festival has drawn more than millions visitors for productions from “Annie” to “The Wizard of Oz.”

Located in the centre of the State, the town was formed in the 1860's. It has 809 buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.
The town is the home of the world's oldest rodeo, dating from 1888.
From this former railroad bed, which was converted into the Prescott-Russell Recreational Trail in the sixties, we can access a number of side trails that take us into deeper bush in the Ottawa south area, or between the many cultivated fields for a little open runaround, or connect to other trails on the system, or finally lead us into the Mer Bleue Bog area described in the previous photo.
I like everywhere we go because it's all so different, but here I get to play serious ball with Dad because it's safe to go all out, which is the only way for me to chase my ball!

We live in Prescott Valley, But 5-7 miles away from town. Our house is 360 feet higher the town. So looking off our patio over other houses and between hills and trees we can see part of town. Through a spotting scope one the the sighs says Home Depot
