These miniature posters (around 30 mm, only about 15 mm visible) are taken from my latest dollhouse that i recently did. I build miniature houses so small that everything is super tiny and cute. The whole house is about 20 cm.
I still have some plants left to create but otherwise all the 3 floors are done. I really like the little poster container that believe it or not takes about half an hour to assemble, considering the amount of time the glue has to dry in each layer and part.
Happy MM!!
I'm currently working on a gouache tutorial where I'll be teaching simple paintings done in a poster-art style.
Rhapsody is almost here! A music filled event representing 8 distinctive genres of music to inspire creators. But some of our creators inspired us... and here is one of many artist/band posters inspired by their genres and the lovely people in them.

As the title says, moss inside of moss text.
Mosses are small plants, not showy, but they play an important role, growing where other, larger plants can't, and then relinquishing the location to a grass, fern, shrub, or something else. This clump of moss is growing in a wooded area.
Thanks for looking. Isn't God a great artist.

HAPPY SLIDERS SUNDAY !!
CLICK on image to look close at the "posterizing."
My editing program has a slider called "Posterize."
I did not slide it to the max, but pretty close. I kind of like the result.
I also like it that Sliders Sunday prompts me to produce new kinds of images.

I don't suppose this means that from January to March and May to December safety at work can be forgotten...
This is a poster I designed for a hypothetical exhibit of Georgia O'Keeffe paintings at the New Mexico Museum of Art. The close-up of the flower depicted in the poster is a rendering of a photo that I took a few years ago, inspired by O'Keeffe's paintings of flowers.

Hi to all,
Firstly a big thanks to all who have taken the time to view and comment on my photographs over the last few years. I wanted to say a few words to explain where I've gone.
As with so many others the recent changes to Flickr have come as quite a shock to me. I can't say I'm a fan of them (or the terrible way that they have been implemented) but equally I can't see that they are the end of the world.
Functionality issues aside, even from before the recent update Flickr has been moving towards displaying progressively higher resolution images. I can understand why they might feel the site needs to go down this route but I am concerned that it does leave my work open to photo theft.
In the past we had been given the option to limit the publically viewable size of images on Flickr, regardless of the resolution it was uploaded at. It appears that option has now been removed, or rather the options that are offered are still higher than I am comfortable with.
For the time being I've decided on the admittedly extreme action of making my existing photostream private while I consider my options. Flickr has been such a wonderful forum for displaying my work and I am reluctant to leave it all together. At the moment I'm thinking to downsize a selection of my own favourite and most popular images and continue posting new works. Clearly this is going to be a rather time consuming task so please bear with me and watch this space.

rather rare one here that does not look very Soviet at all. only 24,000 printed. Artist is Vera Livanova Publisher is Soviet Artist. Judging by the garb and the first sign this is a poster about Africa. . 1st sign says something like Free all of Africa. 2nd sign at the bottom of the poster says down with colonialism- thanks Goetz Burrggaf.
