The Art of Retouching
Thanks to warhammer for this original portrait:
Every Portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist-"Oscar Wilde".
Leica M9 + Leica Summilux ASPH 50mm f1.4 @ f1.4
How did I light this? 1 or 2 lights? Gridded studio light(s)? Fresnel lens? Snoot? Gridded strip box?
OK the answer is none of those. My Cateye bike light handheld (left hand) shot in a lift after a model cigarette break and Leica M9 camera in right hand pre-focused with hyperfocal distance.
It's nice to keep it simple sometimes and I was able to show how you can use any light source for portrait photography as part of the photography tuition.
We are proud to introduce our first official model as part of our creative photography team. Evangelia, is a global athlete and a wonderful person with whom we are going to explore the world of commercial photography.
